Title: Tax Manager - Compliance & Planning - (Tax Mgr - CC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Serve as the manager for taxes for the Company. This includes tax compliance and planning for both domestic and international subsidiaries. For domestic tax compliance, this includes active management, review and filing of domestic tax returns and calculations of effective tax rate. For domestic tax planning, this includes identifying income tax opportunity to reduce overall effective tax rate and increase cash flow. For international compliance, this includes oversight of filing foreign tax returns and calculations of effective tax rates. For international planning, this includes projects such as transfer pricing and dividend repatriation.

Title: Internal Auditor - (BK)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
This person will be participating in or leading the evaluation of the effectiveness of controls, identifying ineffective practices, recommending measures for improvements and monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position will require participation in financial, operational and other audits in accordance with overall audit plan. Position requires travel to domestic and international locations as required by audit plan, rate of travel is estimated at 25% to 35%.

Title: Corporate Senior Business Analyst - (JM)

This person will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Vice President of Military and Materials Businesses in the execution of his duties. The major areas of responsibility and focus for this position are as follows: business development, supply chain management, business systems, financial analysis and M & A activities.

Title: Corporate Director of Human Resources - (FK)

This person will be responsible for the development and implementation of effective employee relations and organizational development programs. This is the chief employee relations and organizational development executive. Will be responsible to participate with Top Management in company strategic planning processes, contributing an organizational and personnel viewpoint to decision making. Organizes and manages an integrated family of HR services to fulfill the Company's requirement for an affective capability to develop its organization and favorable employee relations. Will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of company wide HR policies and procedures, the administration of compensation and benefit programs, recruitment and selection, employee communications and incentive programs.

Engineering

Title: Thin Film Process Engineer - (JB)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Provides process engineering support for all IR thin film manufacturing areas, i.e. thin film deposition, thin film parts cleaning, thin film material processing and thin film engineering. This process engineering support is carried out through “hands-on” engineering in the manufacturing areas providing data collection and analysis, process control, documentation and troubleshooting. The core responsibility is to sustain existing processes by achieving a good understanding of all thin film processes and standard specification. Also provide engineering support to Singapore thin film manufacturing facility. Work towards developing deterministic manufacturing in the thin film area.

Title: Thin Film Coating Schedule Coordinator - (MB)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
The Thin Film Coating Schedule Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and planning production throughout the Thin Film Coating department. Tasks include planning production for TFP and TFE coating machines, prioritizing work orders, organizing production queues, and verifying proper tooling and designs. Will be responsible for reporting backlog and interacting with other manufacturing areas on the delivery status of work orders. Interacts with the Production Inventory Control and Quality Assurance departments on coating run status, efficiency improvements, routing and drawing issues. Works with coating engineering and supervision to adjust schedules to meet staffing and process development issues.

Title: Quality Assurance Engineer - (SR)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Candidate must be highly motivated and organized with a desire to analyze and solve problems in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Good interpersonal and technical writing skills are also required. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be involved in QA testing and maintenance activities, special projects, customer service and warranty returns.

Title: Optical Design Engineer - (GH)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
The optical design engineer is responsible for designing optical components and optical subassemblies. Designs could be a new II-VI product development or they could be for customer specified applications. A detailed understanding of II-VI manufacturing processes is required by the incumbent to design to our strengths, while a good understanding of CO2 laser applications is required so these products work well in the customer’s application. Optical design is done using sophisticated software packages including Oslo, Fred and Zemax. The optical design engineer must also have good mechanical lab skills to perform hands on testing of II-VI products. Strong communication and documentation skills will be needed to support direct communication with customers around the world.

Title: Mechanical Design/Drafting Engineer - (FK)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Provides mechanical designated drafting support. Will work from sketches, drawings and verbal instructions to produce working drawings. Convenes design review when drawings contain enough information to convey concept. Review design with affected parties and incorporate changes that are needed. When concept is solidified, convenes second design review prior to detail drafting. Performs detail drafting. Responsible for generating parts list, including fabricated and purchased parts and develops manufacturing drawings from pre-designed components of existing manufacturing configurations. Provides engineering support to sales department and II-VI customers for new product development.

Title: Diamond Turning Engineer - (AH)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
The Diamond Turning Engineer will provide engineering design and manufacturing engineering to support all aspects of the diamond turning process. Technical sales support will be provided to worldwide customers so that manufacturing cost, performance specification and technical risk is evaluated. Optical and Mechanical Design of both products and tooling will be undertaken; these designs will require a detailed understanding of the manufacturing process and will utilize high performance materials. The Diamond Turning engineer will provide manufacturing support, process development, troubleshooting to ensure that products are being manufactured correctly. Strong mathematical, analytical, mechanical and electrical skills will be utilized in supporting this diverse manufacturing group. Finally, the engineer will support quality control and optical testing for the products produced. This will utilize a broad range of sophisticated metrology techniques that are capable of resolving nanometer surface features.

Title: Associate Electrical Engineer - (JC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
The Associate Electrical Engineer works with the Electrical Engineer to provide guidance and oversight for the electrical and control systems throughout the department. Involvement in projects, including design and design overview, PSM evaluations and documentation. Maintains existing process computers and control systems and assists in the support and development of future systems. Active involvement in mechanical integrity system database and work order generation administration. Responsible for developing and maintaining drawings and schematics of department electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Writing and reviewing procedures for calibration, maintenance, installation and other activities related to electrical and process control systems.

Information Technology

Title: Technical Analyst - (SE)

Provide technical, software development, and report development skills to build and support supplemental business applications solutions. Work closely with other II-VI departments to develop knowledge of business processes and system requirements. Provide technical leadership and assistance in the definition, development, implementation and support of information technology solutions and business process change management to support the II-VI manufacturing environment.

Title: Thin Film Coating Off-Shift Supervisor - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Oversee Thin Film Coating operations during off shifts. Provide employee performance feedback, leadership and supervision in all aspects of the thin film coating department, which include cleaning, coating, maintenance and support areas of production. Responsible for quality, TFP/TFE production efficiencies, process monitoring, training, operation support, communications and employee motivation. Coordinates activities with senior supervision on daily basis and provides feedback to shop floor. Supports and initiates problem-solving ideas with department supervisors and engineers. Monitors process equipment to assure normal operations and quality control. Provides leadership and technical expertise in daily production activities. Gives direct input for employee evaluations. Title: Tool Relap/Coating Removal Operator - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Perform precision re-conditioning and inspection of diamond cutting tools, controlling edge quality. Prepare supporting documentation. Perform coating removal, controlling and verifying component specifications. The machine set-up requires selection of correct tooling and minor machine adjustments.

Title: Sheetstock Operator - (JM)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Process ZnS/ZnSe sheetstock, process blanks to required specifications, bevel as required. Provide and maintain necessary information for SPC charting. Perform all duties using proper documented, standard procedures. May be assigned to special projects and other tasks as required.

Title: Quality Assurance Final Inspector - (JB)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
This person will perform final quality inspection to ensure all customer requirements are met utilizing sales order information. Special testing may be required to assure all requirements are met. Must assure proper documentation, packaging and labeling per customer requirements.

Title: Metrology Technician - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Duties will include mechanical/optical inspection, laser engraving, corporate calibration system, and maintenance and repair of micrometers/dimensional equipment used in production. Will also provide support to other departments where process and final inspection/documentation is required. Must be knowledgeable in the operation of large array of mechanical and optical inspection methods. Ensure all customer requirements are met utilizing sales order information. May require special testing to assure that all of the above requirements are met. Assure proper inspection, documentation, packing and labeling per customer requirements.

Title: Diamond Turning Flycut Operator - (JR)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Production of copper mirror components using a single axis Diamond Flycutting Lathe. Controlling and verifying component thickness, finish quality and optical figure for all parts machined. Critical adjustments of the diamond cutting tool.

Title: CVD Systems Operator - (JC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Performs operation and maintenance of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) production equipment; performs routine and non-routine handling and processing of raw product; assists and supports engineering and maintenance activities as required; performs all tasks on a rotating basis.

Title: CVD Assembly Prep Technician - (JC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Performs clean-up and pre-assembly work of CVD graphite and inserts. Performs routine and non-routine handling and processing of CVD assembly parts. Assists and supports CVD Engineering and/or MPZ Maintenance activities, as required, in order to sustain operational efficiency and/or product quality improvement. Performs all job tasks on a rotating basis.

Title: C&S Mounting Technician - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Responsible for the optical mounting of assemblies and mounts for OEMs and aftermarket customers. Testing of assembled optics per II-VI standards or customer specifications. Responsible for maintaining an inventory of mounts, assemblies and supplies in order to deliver parts to OEM and aftermarket orders on time. Perform in-house processes and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports and logs.

Title: Blanking & Grinding Operator - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Parts are manufactured using equipment including, but not limited to, generating, grinding, Double Planetary, Single Planetary, edging, beveling and shaping. Maintain proper documentation including Statistical Process Control data as needed. Perform all duties following documented, standard procedures. May be assigned special projects or other tasks as required.

Physical Plant

Title: HVAC Technician - (DS)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
This person will maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVACR and production equipment including controls, design, layout and install HVACR equipment on capital projects. Coordinate and direct contractors as necessary to achieve same ends and to ensure work outputs are correct and accurate and performed in a safe and professional manner.

Production Inventory Control

Title: Material Qualification/Storeroom Clerk - (MC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Responsible for qualification of optical material and Blanking & Grinding storeroom issues. These responsibilities include critical incoming inspection of optical materials, maintenance of records for ZnSe/ZnS inspection; delivery and receipt of in-process materials; performance of all computer related inventory transactions; and proper identification and storage of material and optics.

Title: Telemarketer - (ST)

Title: Inside Sales Engineer - (TN)
