Accounting

Title: Corporate Tax Manager - (CC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Serve as the manager for taxes for the Company. This includes tax compliance and planning for both domestic and international subsidiaries. For domestic tax compliance, this includes active management, review and filing of domestic tax returns and calculations of effective tax rate. For domestic tax planning, this includes identifying income tax opportunity to reduce overall effective tax rate and increase cash flow. For international compliance, this includes oversight of filing foreign tax returns and calculations of effective tax rates. For international planning, this includes projects such as transfer pricing and dividend repatriation.

Administration

Title: Lead Staffing Specialist - (MA)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Primary function is to lead the recruiting efforts of II-VI and specifically filling the talent needs of the Saxonburg campus and providing assistance to other II-VI locations, when requested. The secondary function is to provide project leadership and support within the Human Resources Department in the following areas: affirmative action, employee relations, training, benefits administration, communications and various other projects pertaining to the Human Resources function.

Engineering

Title: Programmer/Engineer - Diamond Turning - (GD)
Location: Saxonburg, PA
The Diamond Turning Programmer/Engineer will provide technical and administrative support in all aspects of the Diamond Turning Process with a focus on mathematical modeling and toolpath programming of custom optics. Auxiliary programming support for Corporate Engineering (involving lens design and opto-mechanical design) will be a secondary focus. Work will include mathematical modeling and simulation, toolpath programming, opto-mechanical design, optical testing, quoting, documentation and presentation of processes, sales support, and quality control.

Title: Optical Design Engineer - (GH)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
The optical design engineer is responsible for designing optical components and optical subassemblies. Designs could be a new II-VI product development or they could be for customer specified applications. A detailed understanding of II-VI manufacturing processes is required by the incumbent to design to our strengths, while a good understanding of CO2 laser applications is required so these products work well in the customer’s application. Optical design is done using sophisticated software packages including Oslo, Fred and Zemax. The optical design engineer must also have good mechanical lab skills to perform hands on testing of II-VI products. Strong communication and documentation skills will be needed to support direct communication with customers around the world.

Title: Mechanical Design/Drafting Engineer - (FK)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Provides mechanical designated drafting support. Will work from sketches, drawings and verbal instructions to produce working drawings. Convenes design review when drawings contain enough information to convey concept. Review design with affected parties and incorporate changes that are needed. When concept is solidified, convenes second design review prior to detail drafting. Performs detail drafting. Responsible for generating parts list, including fabricated and purchased parts and develops manufacturing drawings from pre-designed components of existing manufacturing configurations. Provides engineering support to sales department and II-VI customers for new product development.

Title: Quality Assurance Utility Person - (JD)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
This person will perform various duties that support final Quality Inspection. Optics will be wrapped and packaged in a neat and organized manner that meets customer packaging requirements. Paperwork will be filed in a timely and accurate manner.

Title: Quality Assurance Final Inspector - (JD)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
This person will perform final quality inspection to ensure all customer requirements are met utilizing sales order information. Special testing may be required to assure all requirements are met. Must assure proper documentation, packaging and labeling per customer requirements.

Title: Optipro Technician - (PB)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Set-up and operate the Optipro Machining Center. Responsibilities include preparing finished/semi-finished optics for machining and mounting optics. Requires selecting the proper tooling and fixtures to perform the job. Utilize appropriate metrology equipment to measure optics and document. Grinding and re-ETV of finished optics is also required.

Title: Metrology Technician - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Duties will include mechanical/optical inspection, laser engraving, corporate calibration system, and maintenance and repair of micrometers/dimensional equipment used in production. Will also provide support to other departments where process and final inspection/documentation is required. Must be knowledgeable in the operation of large array of mechanical and optical inspection methods. Ensure all customer requirements are met utilizing sales order information. May require special testing to assure that all of the above requirements are met. Assure proper inspection, documentation, packing and labeling per customer requirements.

Title: Laser Test Technician - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Perform laser tests on optical elements as required and determine final acceptance of products based on customer and II-VI specifications. Fully document all test results for internal and external use. Perform required maintenance on lasers and test equipment. Assist in maintaining calibration of test equipment. Complete special tests as required by II-VI Sales, Corporate Engineering, Quality Assurance, Coating, Fabrication and Material Production Departments to support both production and research and development efforts. Continuously work on improving QA testing procedures, documentation and parts flow.

Title: Diamond Turning Flycut Operator - (JR)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Production of copper mirror components using a single axis Diamond Flycutting Lathe. Controlling and verifying component thickness, finish quality and optical figure for all parts machined. Critical adjustments of the diamond cutting tool.

Title: CVD Assembly Prep Technician - (JC)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Performs clean-up and pre-assembly work of CVD graphite and inserts. Performs routine and non-routine handling and processing of CVD assembly parts. Assists and supports CVD Engineering and/or MPZ Maintenance activities, as required, in order to sustain operational efficiency and/or product quality improvement. Performs all job tasks on a rotating basis.

Title: Cleaning Technician - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Inspect, clean and setup optics for the coating deposition process. Maintains equipment and records data. Performs coating QA functions and documentation after deposition process.

Title: Blanking/Grinding Technician (Schneider CNC Generator) - ()
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Set up and operate the CNC Generator. Responsible for grinding and re-E.T.V.ing generated and finished optics. Perform all duties using documented standard procedures. May be assigned special projects and other tasks as required.

Production Inventory Control

Title: Shipping Clerk - (SN)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Responsible for all shipping functions; packaging shipments and preparing necessary documentation for domestic and international orders; performing all computer-related shipping/invoicing transactions, purchasing shipping supplies and preparing reports.

Sales

Title: Senior Account Manager - (TN)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
II-VI Incorporated is seeking a Senior Account Manager to support our Highyag product line. This position will be located at our Corporate Headquarters in Saxonburg, PA and will report to the Regional Sales Manager. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, sales budgets and periodic forecasts for the North American Highyag market. The position will be responsible for achieving sales targets and controlling/monitoring expenses and inventory.

Title: Inside Sales Engineer - (TN)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
As a member of the II-VI sales staff, you'll leverage your technical knowledge and customer service skills through daily interaction with our customers, agents and subsidiaries. Major responsibilities include supporting the Americas or European sales teams by providing technical assistance to the support staff, as well as designated customers, agents, and subsidiaries via phone, fax, and e-mail.

Title: Assistant Aftermarket Sales Representative - (JP)
Location: II-VI Saxonburg
Individual will be responsible for conducting telemarketing sales and providing administrative support such as sales order processing, quoting and delivery information.
