Birefringence Crystal

For an optically anisotropic crystal, the refractive index varies linearly with the polarizability in the crystal. So, when the light passes through such crystals, the polarization of the exit light will be different than the polarization of the incident linght, and the birefringence phenomenon may occur.

Micro Lenses

Micro Lenses refer particularly to C-Lens or D-Lens, which widely used for collimating or coupling beams after the fiber. With more than 10 years of experiences of lean production of Micro Lenses, II-VI provide high volume C-Lens or D-Lens with different diameter from 1mm to 3mm.

Spherical Lenses

A lens is a curved piece of ground and polished or molded material, usually glass, used for the refraction or focusing of light. II-VI provides lenses a wide range of size and materials including BK7, Fused Silica, CaF2 and other glass types specified by customers. Similar to the cylindrical lens, spherical lenses are also widely used in the different applications, and II-VI provides singlets, doublets and customized lenses assemblies.

Magneto-Optic TGG Faraday Rotator Rods

All TGG Faraday rotator materials from IPI are RoHS compliant.

1 Micron High-Power Direct-Diode Laser (HPDDL) Beam Integrators

The 1 micron (0.8 - 1.0 µm) high-power direct-diode laser (HPDDL) is becoming an increasingly popular tool for materials processing, thanks to its small physical size, low initial capital cost, electrical efficiency, and long maintenance intervals. However, the highly divergent output of HPDDLs require specialized optics to make these tools useful.
II-VI Infrared's 1 micron ZnS MS beam integrators are ideally suited to the challenge of directing HPDDL output onto a work surface. Producing relatively flat intensity profiles and a square focus area, these faceted, diamond-turned precision optics, when combined with HPDDL output, are ideally suited for cladding, heat treating, and welding applications.

Fused Silica Aspheres 1µm Laser Optics

II-VI Infrared, the world leader in laser optics, introduces customized fused silica aspheres for direct diode and fiber or disk laser applications at powers greater than 1kW. Fused silica aspheres are designed to be diffraction limited and achieve smaller spot sizes than typical spherical lenses. Whether for welding or cutting, II-VI offers low-absorbing, high quality lenses using industry-leading manufacturing resources and superior coating technology.
