II-VI leverages its gallium arsenide technology platform for a broad portfolio of semiconductor laser products with a wide range of applications in various end markets.

High Power Lasers Modules: II-VI’s high power laser modules are used to energize fiber lasers and direct diode lasers. The modules feature state-of-the-art front mirror passivation that prevents optical damage to the laser diode facets. The wavelength-stabilized modules minimize warm-up time, and operate over a wide temperature range, improving laser system productivity and reducing maintenance.

Fiber-Coupled Lasers: II-VI’s fiber-coupled lasers are available from blue to infrared, with standard and narrow-linewidth and with single-mode, multi-mode, and polarization-maintaining fiber pigtails. They enable a wide range of applications, including for Raman and fluorescence spectroscopy, flow cytometry, and confocal microscopy. Visible lasers coupled to a polarization-maintaining single mode fiber deliver a near perfect M-squared beam quality with excellent pointing stability and very low noise.

Laser Diode Modules: II-VI’s compact laser diode modules are available at visible wavelengths and feature very stable output power and very low power consumption. The modules operate over a temperature range of greater than 40 °C, enabling outdoor applications such as laser surveying, aiming, and laser alignment.

Q-switched Lasers: II-VI’s diode pumped and passively Q-switched lasers are available at near-infrared wavelengths of 1535 nm and 1064 nm. They are designed to operate over a wide temperature range, which make them ideal for laser telemetry, remote sensing, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, 3D laser imaging and surveying equipment.
