Precitech Inc. Completes Sale of its 1000th Machine

Keene, NH- Precitech Inc., the global leaders in ultra-precision machining technology has completed the highly anticipated sale of its 1000th machine, a true milestone in the North American Machine Tool Industry. The Nanoform(R) 250 ultra, a ground breaking machining system with the most accurate and robust commercially available ultra-precision capabilities, has been delivered to II-VI INFRARED in Saxonburg, PA, a worldwide leader in CO2 laser optics.

This collaboration continues a rich tradition between Precitech and II-VI INFRARED, dating back to 1988 when II-VI and then called Pneumo Precision launched their partnership with the sale of a two-axis fly cutter used to manufacture high precision mirrors. Then in 1999, II-VI took delivery of the world’s first commercially produced FTS(R) Fast Tool Servo system, manufactured by Precitech.
