II-VI Incorporated welcomed United States Senator of Pennsylvania Rick Santorum to its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, on March 3, 2006. The Senator visited to meet the employees and learn about II-VI.

After addressing the employees, Senator Santorum answered questions and then toured II-VI Incorporated’s division, eV PRODUCTS, the world's leading manufacturer of Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) radiation detection products, including components and subassemblies optimized for specific industry applications.
